Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, leverage and independent commissioners on company value as measured by price book value (PBV). Profitability in this study is measured using the ratio of return on assets (ROA), leverage is measured by the ratio of debt to equity (DER) and independent commissioners are measured by (KI). The population used is property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2016 - 2018. The sample used in this study were 30 companies that were selected using the purposive sampling method. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach. Analysis of the data used in this study is multiple linear regression models. The research results partially (t test) show that profitability affects the value of the company, while leverage and independent commissioners do not affect the value of the company. Keywords: profitability, leverage, independent commissioners, company value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas, leverage dan komisaris independent terhadap nilai perusahaan yang diukur dengan price book value (PBV). Profitabilitas dalam penelitian ini diukur menggunakan rasio return on assets (ROA), leverage diukur dengan rasio debt to equity (DER) dan komisaris independen diukur dengan (KI). Populasi yang digunakan adalah perusahaan properti yang terdaftar di Bursa efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2016 – 2018. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 30 perusahaan yang telah diseleksi menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah model regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian secara parsial (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan leverage dan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan.
