Abstract
Determination priority in the product selection priority is one of the important business strategy in a company. The company has difficulty in produce some variants so that doing determination of criteria and selection selection of main product with existing product alternative. The purposes of this study was to know of the important factor and alternative of soap product for minimizing losses in term of cost and time, and to know priority of criteria and alternative for soap product using hybrid Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Idea Solution (TOPSIS) Methods. Determination priority in the soap product selection will do using AHP-TOPSIS methods, AHP method is used to determine the best priority of each criterion that has the weight of each other's interests., while the judgement of product alternative using TOPSIS method. Based on the results of data processing from each criteria are product excellence 36%, market prospect 24%, sales volume 20%, ease of production 11%, and availability of materials 9%. The results of data analysis and processing obtained preference values from each alternative, Vea 0.8731, Vascali 0.5250, and Amorish 0.1660. Keywords : Product selection, Business strategy, AHP, TOPSIS Penentuan prioritas dalam pemilihan produk merupakan salah satu strategi bisnis yang penting dalam suatu perusahaan. Perusahaan mengalami kesulitan dalam memproduksi variasi produk sehingga dilakukan penentuan kriteria dan pemilihan produk unggulan dengan alternatif merek yang ada. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor penting kriteria dan alternatif produk sabun agar lebih fokus, efektif dan efisien dalam menghasilkan produk serta mengetahui prioritas dari kriteria dan alternatif produk sabun dengan menggunakan hybrid metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Idea Solution (TOPSIS). Penentuan prioritas dalam pemilihan produk sabun dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode AHP-TOPSIS, dimana metode AHP digunakan untuk menentukan prioritas terbaik dari masing-masing kriteria yang memiliki bobot kepentingan masing-masing, sedangkan perangkingan alternatif produk menggunakan metode TOPSIS. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data yang dihasilkan dari masing-masing kriteria adalah keunggulan produk 36%, prospek pasar 24%, volume penjualan 20%, kemudahan produksi 11%, dan ketersediaan bahan 9%. Hasil analisis dan pengolahan data diperoleh nilai preferensi dari setiap alternatif yaitu Vea 0.8731, Vascali 0.5250, dan Amorish 0.1660. Kata Kunci : Pemilihan produk, Strategi bisnis, AHP, TOPSIS
