Abstract

In the current era, the government is increasing competitiveness in the industrial sector. Especially the manufacturing industry because the manufacturing industry is a sector that plays an important role in improving the national economy. PT. Laksana Teknik Makmur is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in the manufacture of car accessories in Indonesia. One of the products produced is Tank Washer. In the production process it has 11% defect. In this study using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) method as a tool to solve quality problems. From the calculation using DMAIC for Define, the results of CTQ (Critical To Quality) are wave defects which are the biggest defect, that is 4.1% of the total defects of Tank Washer. Then for Measure obtained DPMO value of 108475 and with Sigma Level 2.73. Furthermore Analyze obtained obtained what factors caused the defect wave and to Improve using the FMEA method and obtained the results of making a new SOP (Standard Operational Procedure) with the largest RPN value of 256. Then the final stage is Control at this stage is implemented with a new SOP for 1 month and the wave defect value drops to 2% and the Sigma Level value increases to 3.326 with the DPMO 20424 value. Keyword: DMAIC, FMEA, DPMO, Sigma Level, SOP,Quality Di era sekarang ini, pemerintah sedang melakukan peningkatan daya saing di sektor industri. Terutama industri manufaktur karena industri manufaktur merupakan sektor yang sangat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan perekonomian nasional. PT. Laksana Teknik Makmur merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan accesories mobil di Indonesia. Salah satu produk yang dihasilkan adalah Tank Washer. Di dalam proses produksinya mengalami kecacatan 11%. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)sebagai tools untuk memecahkan permasalahan tentang quality. Dari perhitungan menggunakan DMAIC untuk Define didapatkan hasil CTQ (Critical To Quality) adalah cacat gelombang merupakan cacat yang terbesar yaitu 4,1% dari total cacat Tank Washer. Lalu untuk Measure didapatkan nilai DPMO sebesar 108475 dan dengan Sigma Level 2,73. Selanjutnya Analyze didapatkan didapatkan faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan terjadinya cacat gelombang dan untuk tahap Improve Menggunakan metode FMEA dan didapatkan hasil pembuatan SOP (Standart Operational Prosedure) yang baru dengan nilai RPN terbesar yaitu 256. Kemudian tahap akhir yaitu Control pada tahap ini dilakukan implementasi dengan SOP yang baru selama 1 bulan dan nilai cacat gelombang turun menjadi 2% dan nilai Sigma Level meningkat menjadi 3,326 dengan nilai DPMO 20424.
