Abstract

Humans and entertainment are very close entities. There are humans there are tourist attractions, there will be no tourist attractions if there are no supporters, namely a place of rest or lodging. Entertainment is entertainment where after a long time working and studying, a vacation is needed to be able to start the day cheerfully and happily. Hotels and resorts are one of the supporters of tourist areas that are frequently visited. Then it is necessary to make a resting place for tourists who visit the tourist area. Humans want to enjoy and share holiday experiences in their lives, so that resorts such as hotels and resorts become important in tourist areas. From this description, West Java Province, especially in Bandung Province needs a place to rest such as hotels and resorts specifically built to support the Province as a tourist place. The Bandung Hotel and Resort Development Plan will be designed on the basis of the application of neo vernacular with the theme of biotic transformation as the basis for design. The application of the theme of biotic transformation through existing studies is expected to optimize the shape and building of West Java cultural heritage, providing comfort and improving tourism in West Java Province. Keywords : Hotels and Resorts, Entertainment, Neo Vernacular, Biotic Transformation, West Java Manusia dan hiburan merupakan suatu kesatuan yang erat sekali. Ada manusia ada tempat wisata, tidak akan ada tempat pariwisata jika tidak ada pendukung yaitu tempat istirahat atau penginapan. Pariwisata bersifat hiburan dimana setelah lama bekerja serta belajar, maka diperlukan liburan agar bisa memulai hari dengan ceria dan bahagia. Hotel dan Resort adalah salah satu pendukung bagi daerah wisata yang sering dikunjungi. Maka perlu dibuatkan tempat peristirahatan bagi wisatawan yang mengunjungi daerah wisata tersebut. Manusia ingin menikmati dan membagikan pengalaman liburan dalam kehidupannya, sehingga tempat peristirahatan seperti hotel dan resort menjadi penting dalam daerah wisata. Dari uraian tersebut, Provinsi Jawa Barat khususnya pada Provinsi Bandung membutuhkan tempat beristirahat seperti hotel dan resort yang dibangun khusus untuk mendukung Provinsi tersebut sebagai tempat wisata. Rencana Pembangunan Bandung Hotel dan Resort yang akan dirancang dengan dasar penerapan neo vernakuler dengan tema transformasi biotik sebagai dasar dalam perancangan. Penerapan tema transformasi biotik melalui kajian yang ada diharap dapat mengoptimalkan bentuk dan bangunan cagar budaya jawa barat, memberikan kenyamanan serta meningkatkan kepariwisataan Provinsi Jawa Barat.
