Abstract
PT. Globalindo Perkasa Makmur is a company that engaged in garment industry which produces Jeans Pants. In the research it was found that the company doesn’t have yet the specific method to planning the raw material inventory. As a results there is an overstock in the inventory, especially for the Jeans Pants GPT135. In planning of the material inventory, begins with doing sales forecasting from the historical data with Moving Average, Weighted Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Trend Linear and Cyclic. Then calculate the Aggregate Planning and the results are used for the Master Production Planning. Then do the calculate the material planning with MRP method. The lot size that used in the research are Economic Order Quantity, Period Order Quantity and Lot for Lot. the final results obtained Lot for Lot technique produces the minimum total cost of Rp6.269.001 Keywords : Inventory, Forecasting, Material Requirement Planning, EOQ, POQ, LFL PT. Globalindo Perkasa Makmur merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri garmen, dimana produk yang dihasilkan yaitu Celana Jeans. Dalam penelitian ditemukan bahwa perusahaan belum memiliki metode khusus dalam perencanaan persediaan bahan baku. Akibatnya terjadi overstock pada persediaan bahan baku, khususnya untuk produk Celana Jeans GPT135. Dalam perencanaan persediaan bahan baku diawali dengan melakukan peramalan dari data historis yang dimiliki perusahaan dengan metode Moving Average, Weighted Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Trend Linear dan Siklis. Kemudian dilakukan perhitungan nilai kesalahan dengan parameter MAD, MAPE, MFE dan MSE. Setelah itu melakukan Perencanaan Agregat yang hasilnya digunakan sebagai Jadwal Induk Produksi. Kemudian dilakukan perhitungan perencanaan bahan baku dengan metode MRP. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Economic Order Quantity, Period Order Quantity dan Lot for Lot. Dimana hasil akhir didapatkan teknik Lot for Lot menghasilkan total biaya paling minimum sebanyak Rp6.269.001 Kata Kunci : Persediaan, Peramalan, Material Requirement Planning, EOQ, POQ, LFL.
