Abstract
PT. United Can Company, Ltd is a company engaged in the metal packaging industry. The research was conducted at a coating work station that applies Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value on the coater machine. The purpose of this study is to determine the causes of losses that affect the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value on the coater machine and to compare the values of Availability, Performance Ratio, Rate of Product Quality and the value of Six Big Losses to see the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value on the Coater machine. before and after the repair. The analysis stage uses the six big loss tool and the diagram. The activities on the fishbone diagram tool are applied and then repaired using the TPM. The results showed that comparing the OEE value, namely the increase in the value of Availability rate of 4.43%, the value of the Performance rate has decreased by 3.33 and the value of the Quality rate has increased by 1.96. The average OEE in January to April 2020 increased 0.25% from 42.29% to 42.54%. Keywords: Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Six big losses PT.United Can Company,Ltd merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri kemasan logam. Penelitian dilakukan pada stasiun kerja coating yang mengevaluasi penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) terhadap nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) pada mesin coater. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab losses yang mempengaruhi nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) pada mesin coater dan perbandingan nilai Availability, Performance Ratio, Rate of Quality Product serta nilai Six Big Losses untuk mengetahui nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) pada mesin Coater sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan.Tahap Analisis menggunakan tools six big losses dan fishbone diagram. Aktivitas – aktivitas pada tools fishbone diagram diterapkan kemudian dilakukan perbaikan menggunakan TPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbandingkan nilai OEE yaitu kenaikan nilai Availability rate sebesar 4,43% ,nilai Performance rate mengalami penurunan 3,33 dan nilai Quality rate mengalami kenaikan 1,96. Sedangkan nilai OEE pada tahun 2017, 2018, dan 2019 meningkat setelah perbaikan dengan nilai rata-rata OEE pada bulan Januari s/d April 2020 meningkat 0,25% dari 42,29% menjadi 42,54%.
