Abstract
PT. Sukses Abadi Farmindo Engaged in Manufacturing at this time the company is experiencing quality improvement problems in the production of Nexx Gingseng Coffee on defect Coding which is a product with a percentage of defects 45.61% greater than other defects in the period October 2019-January 2020. Therefore Six Sigma method is used with the DMAIC stage (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) with the aim of determining the largest defect type that has the largest percentage, determining the cause of the largest defect type and determining alternative proposals based on the DMAIC method approach. After calculating and analyzing data using the DMAIC method, it is known that the largest type of defect is Coding which has a percentage of 45.61% based on the calculation of the Pareto diagram and then used the Fish Bone Diagram so that the known cause of the Coding defect is Human Factor (not dexterous, exhausted, not discipline, rush and lack of training), Method factors (Absence of work instructions, Lack of supervision), Machine Factors (Machine settings have problems, maintenance schedules are not carried out, machine life is long), Material Factors (Ink types are not good). In the Improve phase, the proposed alternatives are to provide routine training to the operator, make a repair schedule for the machine, make a control schedule for the machine settings and do a machine rejuvenation. At the control stage it is advisable to supervise the use of the engine in accordance with the capacity of the machine, so that the machine can be operated in accordance with the age of the machine, make a maintenance schedule (maintenance) periodically in accordance with the standards of the machine and immediately replace the damaged engine components, and conduct training on operators in operating a new machine to conform to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on that machine. Sukses Abadi Farmindo Bergerak pada bidang Manufaktur pada saat ini perusahaan mengalami permasalahan perbaikan kualitas pada bagian produksi Nexx Gingseng Coffee pada defect Coding yang merupakan produk dengan persentase cacat 45,61% lebih besar dibandingkan dengan defect lainnya pada periode Oktober 2019-Januari 2020. Oleh karena itu digunakan metode Six Sigma dengan tahap DMAIC (Define, Measure,Analyze,Improve,Control) dengan tujuan menentukan jenis defect terbanyak yang memiliki persentase terbesar, menentukan penyebab jenis defect terbesar serta mementukan alternatif usulan berdasarkan pendekatan metode DMAIC. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan serta analisis data menggunakan metode DMAIC, diketahui bahwa jenis defect terbesar adalah Coding yang memiliki persentase sebesar 45,61% berdasarkan perhitungan diagram pareto selanjutnya digunakan Diagram Tulang Ikan sehingga diketahui penyebab terjadinya defect Coding adalah Faktor Manusia (tidak cekatan, kelelahan,tidak disiplin,terburu-buru dan kurangnya pelatihan), faktor Metode (Tidak adanya instruksi kerja, Kurang pengawasan), Faktor Mesin (Mesin setting bermasalah, jadwal maintenance tidak terlaksana,umur mesin sudah lama), Faktor Material (Jenis tinta yang kurang baik). Pada tahap Improve ditentukan alternatif usulan berupa memberikan pelatihan rutin kepada operator, membuat penjadwalan perbaikan pada mesin, membuat jadwal pengontrolan pada mesin Setting dan melakukan peremajaan mesin . Pada tahap control disarankan Pengawasan terhadap penggunaan mesin sesuai dengan kapsitas mesin tersebut, agar mesin dapat dioperasikan sesuai dengan umur mesin, Membuat jadwal perawatan (maintenance) secara berkala sesuai dengan standar pada mesin tersebut dan langsung mengganti komponen mesin yang rusak, dan Melakukan pelatihan pada operator dalam mengoperasikan mesin baru agar sesuai dengan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) pada mesin tersebut.
