Abstract
The needs of building structure that can restrain an earthquake is increasing, considering the earthquake that was quite terrible in several areas in Indonesia lately. Along with the need of high-rise building which are prone to earthquakes loads, then the structural plan is needed in order to anticipate building failures due to earthquakes loads by using steel structures. This final year project is aiming to modeling, planning, and analyzing steel structures performances by including columns, beams, base plates, joints and bracing with the method of response spectra using ETABS V 9.20 software. The structure model used is Kino Tower Office Building at Tangerang with a height of 28 floors which is burdened by vertical and horizontal loads. The conclusion obtained by the analysis result is: columns, beams, base plates, joints, and bracing able to restrain earthquakes loads on Kino Tower Office Building at Tangerang by using steel structurs. Keywords : Steel Structure, Columns, Beams, Base Plates, Bracing, Response Spectra, Earthquake Load Kebutuhan akan struktur bangunan yang mampu menahan beban gempa semakin meningkat, mengingat kejadian gempa yang cukup dahsyat melanda sebagian wilayah Indonesia akhir-akhirini. Seiring dengan perkembangan kebutuhan fasilitas pada gedung tinggi yang rawan terhadap beban gempa maka dibutuhkan perencanaan struktur untuk mengantisipasi kegagalan bangunan akibat beban gempa dengan menggunakan struktur baja. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan dan merencanakan serta menganalisis kinerja struktur gedung yang meliputi kolom, balok, pelat lantai, sambungan, dan bresing dengan menggunakan metode gempa respon ragam dibantu dengan software ETABS V 9.20. Model strukturberupa bangunan kantor Kino Tower di Tangerang dengan tinggi 28 lantai, yang dibebani dengan beban vertical dan horizontal. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari hasil analisis, kolom, balok, pelat lantai, sambungan, dan bresing mampu menahan beban gempa pada bangunan kantor Kino Tower di Tangerang dengan menggunakan strukturbaja.
