Abstract

Designing a visual. Traditional Karo food photography combined with various more luxurious gourmet-style food plating techniques with a more modern and appetizing appearance, in order to introduce several types of karo dishes to various groups. FoodPhotography, which is developing in the current era, can be used as a promotional medium to introduce traditional or archipelago food to a wide audience which is certainly useful as an increase in knowledge about culinary foods from the Karo tribe. Keywords: photography, gourmet, food photography, food traditional karonese Perancangan sebuah visual Fotografi makanan tradisional Suku Karo dipadukan dengan berbagai teknik plating makanan ala gourmet yang lebih mewah dengan tampilan yang lebih modern dan menggugah selera, guna untuk memperkenalkan beberapa jenis masakan karo kepada berbagai kalangan. FoodPhotography yang berkembang di era kini bisa jadikan sebagai media promosi guna memperkenalkan sebuah makanan tradisional ataupun nusantara kepada khalayak luas yang pastinya berguna sebagai menambah pengetahuan tentang makanan kuliner dari suku karo.
