Abstract

Cullet is a secondary material in the process of making glass sheets. But with cullet, PT. XXX can save or reduce 8-15% of production costs. Kidnapping must run optimally. With the damage to the cullet recycling system will definitely reduce the profit / profit of the company. Swivel screen is a contributor to the reduction in the cullet recycling productivity process. With a motor power drive of 3.7 kW, and 50 rpm rotation, it will produce a torsional torque / moment of 7.21 x 104 kg. Mm. The analysis process starts from looking for the maximum allowable voltage from the table, then sends the data from the table into the allocation calculation and the formula obtained produces 38.42 N / mm2 for the pipe shaft and 127.5 N / mm2 for solid / solid shaft. After getting the maximum shear gulp, then the forces are calculated, bending moment, twisting moment, to the maximum voltage received by the shaft. The maximum shear stress obtained is the shear stress at point 4 with a distance of 1395.75 mm at 38.67 N / mm2. The results of the calculation are expressed as the maximum voltage received by the shaft greater than the maximum shear stress allowed, thus causing the shaft to increase static. Keywords: Rotate screen, torque, maximum shear stress Cullet/ pecahan kaca adalah bahan sekunder dalam proses pembuatan kaca lembaran. Tetapi dengan adanya cullet, PT.XXX dapat menyimpan atau mengurangi 8-15% biaya produksi. Dengan alasan itulah daur ulang/ pencucian cullet harus berjalan maksimal. Dengan adanya kerusakan pada sistem daur ulang cullet pasti akan mengurangi laba/ keuntungan perusahan. Rotary screen adalah penyumbang berkurangnya produktifitas proses daur ulang cullet. Dengan daya motor penggerak 3,7 kW, dan putaran 50 rpm, maka akan menghasilkan torsi/ momen puntir 7,21 x 104 kg.mm. Proses analisis dimulai dari mencari tegangan maksimal yang diperbolehkan dari tabel, selanjutnya memasukkan data-data dari tabel kedalam mekanisme perhitungan dan rumus merancang poros sehingga didapatkan angka 38,42 N/mm2 untuk poros pipa dan 127,5 N/mm2 untuk poros pejal/ solid. Setelah mendapatkan teganan geser maksimal, selanjutnya adalah menghitung gaya-gaya, momen lentur, momen puntir, sampai tegangan maksimal yang diterima poros. Sehingga didapatkan tegangan maksimal yaitu tegangan di titik ke 4 dengan jarak 1395,75 mm sebesar 38,67 N/mm2. Dari hasil perhitungsn tersebut dinyatakan bahwa tegangan maksimal yang diterima poros lebih besar dari tegangan geser maksimal yang diperbolehkan, sehingga menyebabkan poros tersebut mengalami patah statik.
