Abstract
This research is intended to determine the effect of herding and overconfidence bias on investment decisions. The object of this research is Jakarta Investors in PT.MNC Sekuritas. The sampling technique is representative with the criteria of active investors with a sample of 80 investors. Data analysis in this study uses alternative methods of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) version 3.0. The first stage in this study was to test the validity of the questions of each of the following variables with their reliability. The second stage examines the relationship between herding, overconfidence bias towards investment decisions. The results of this study state that the herding variable has a negative and significant negative effect on investment decisions. While overconfidence bias has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. Keywords: herding, overconfidence bias, investment decisions Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh herding dan overconfidence bias terhadap keputusan investasi. Objek penelitian ini adalah Investor Jakarta pada perusahaan PT.MNC Sekuritas. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Representative dengan kriteria investor aktif dengan jumlah sampel 80 Investor. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode alternatif dari Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) versi 3.0. Tahap pertama dalam penelitian ini untuk menguji validitas pertanyaan setiap variabel berikut dengan reliabilitasnya. Tahap kedua menguji hubungan antara herding , overconfidence bias terhadap keputusan investasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa variabel herding berpengaruh negatif dam todal signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi. Sedangkan overconfidence bias berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi. Kata kunci: herding, overconfidence bias, keputusan investasi
