Abstract

The application of information technology in the modern era has been very developed, and is very influential in improving the services or performance of a company to meet the needs of society. Construction services that use the Android smartphone application have not fully met the needs of the community. According to the survey, the way respondents choose the builder to be employed was due to the belief in the recommendation provider that the recommended builder had a trustworthy reputation. This study aims to create an android-based construction service application where users can make it easier to order services, view the status of work contracts and make payments online, as well as a website that is useful for managing job report data and as a promotional medium for companies. The author designed this application with the prototype method, in this method it can make it easier to meet company needs because of the interaction from customers during the application development period. Android application development uses the Java programming language as well as PHP and MySQLi databases for websites, resulting in applications that can help the performance of service companies. With this application, it is hoped that it can make it easier for people to meet service needs and is expected to help improve services at PT. Multi Strada Internusa. Key words: Android, Construction, Prototype, Rent Services, Website. Penerapan teknologi informasi di era modern sudah sangat berkembang, dan sangat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan pelayanan jasa atau kinerja dari suatu perusahaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan di masyarakat. Pelayanan jasa konstruksi yang menggunakan aplikasi smartphone android belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan di masyarakat. Menurut survei, cara responden memilih tukang bangunan yang akan dipekerjakan karena kepercayaan kepada pemberi rekomendasi bahwa tukang yang direkomendasikan memiliki reputasi yang dapat dipercaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi pelayanan jasa konstruksi berbasis android dimana pengguna dapat mempermudah melakukan pemesanan jasa, melihat status kontrak pekerjaan dan melakukan pembayaran secara online, serta website yang berguna untuk mengelola data laporan pekerjan serta sebagai media promosi bagi perusahaan. Penulis merancang aplikasi ini dengan metode prototype, dalam metode ini dapat mempermudah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan karena adanya interaksi dari pelanggan selama masa pengembangan aplikasi. Pengembangan aplikasi android menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java serta PHP dan database MySQLi untuk website, sehingga menghasilkan aplikasi yang dapat membantu kinerja dari perusahan pelayanan jasa. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pelayanan jasa dan diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan layanan jasa pada PT. Multi Strada Internusa.
