Abstract
The biggest supporting factor in success and continuity in the operation of a company is the large and stable value of sales. Both in service companies, trading companies and manufacturing companies. To be able to increase the value of sales, companies need a promotion to introduce and attract public interest in the products they sell. Promotion is needed to convince prospective buyers of the superiority of the products offered. Brand or brand is an affirmation of company image, user image and product image. Therefore the brand is one of the considerations of consumers in making decisions on the purchase of a product or service. Faktor penopang terbesar dalam keberhasilan dan kesinambungan dalam beroperasinya sebuah perusahaan adalah besar dan stabilnya nilai penjualan. Baik pada perusahaan jasa, perusahaan dagang dan juga perusahaan manufaktur. Untuk dapat meningkatkan nilai penjualan perusahaan membutuhkan promosi untuk memperkenalkan dan menarik minat masyarakat terhadap produk-produk yang mereka jual. Promosi dibutuhkan untuk meyakinkan calon pembeli atas keunggulan produk yang ditawarkan. Brand atau merek merupakan afirmasi dari citra perusahaan, citra pemakai dan citra pada produk. Oleh karena itu brand merupakan salah satu pertimbangan konsumen dalam pengambilan keputusan atas pembelian suatu produk atau jasa.
