Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of leverage, investment opportunity set, size and profitabilty toward the firm value of manufacturing companise listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017 use the Tobin’s Q rasio. The research data is annual data in the form of financial statement for the 2013-2017observation period obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling methods used is purposive sampling. The population of this study were all companies manfacturing sector during the 2013-2017observation period, 28 companies obtained the criteria as samples. The analytical method used in this study is panel data regression using the Fixed Effect Model.The results show that leverage and profitability have not effect on firm value. While for investment opportunity set has a negative significant effect and firm size has a postive significant effect on firm value. Keywords: firm value, Tobin’s Q ,leverage, investment opportunity set, firm size, and profitabilty Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh leverage,investment opportunity set,ukuran perusahaan dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan manufaktur di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2013-2017 dengan menggunakan rasio Tobin’s Q. Data penelitian merupakan data tahunan berupa laporan keuangan untuk periode observasi tahun 2013-2017 yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode sampling yng digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sektor manufaktur selama periode pengamatan 2013-2017, 28 perusahaan memenuhi kriteria sebagai sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel menggunakan model Fixed Effect. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa leverage dan profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan untuk invesment opportunity set berpengaruh negatif signifikan dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci: nilai perusahaan, Tobin’s Q, leverage, investment opportunity set, ukuran perusahaan dan profitabilitas
