Abstract
The development of Multimedia Technology has grown very rapidly in society. The use of multimedia as a giver of information is very effective right now, one of which is the development of multimedia information on navigation and visualization of infrastructure. Infrastructure of campus Meruya Mercu Buana often makes it difficult for the community to find the location of the building and the intended space, therefore needed an application that can help and not boring. So in this study the author have developed a navigation application that visualize the area of Mercu Buana Meruya campus into interactive and informative 3-dimensional object that is packed in web form. This application is designed by using blender application with blend4web extension with modeling, texturing, and scripting techniques. The design undertaken is modelling the existing buildings on the campus of Meruya which can be reviewed using interactive buttons that can be used by the web visitors to help search the location and can also be used as the introduction of the campus. After the design and implementation of campus navigation has been completed, the author tested the application by doing some activities using the navigation buttons, mouse movement, keyboard movement, animation, and sound. Keywords : Blender, Navigation, Blend4Web, Multimedia. Perkembangan Teknologi Multimedia telah berkembang sangat pesat dalam masyarakat. Penggunaan multimedia sebagai pemberi informasi adalah hal yang sangat efektif sekarang ini, salah satunya adalah pengembangan multimedia informasi pada navigasi dan visualisasi infrastruktur. Infrastruktur kampus Meruya Mercu Buana sering kali menyulitkan masyarakat dalam mencari lokasi gedung dan ruang yang dituju, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membantu dan tidak membosankan. Maka dalam penelitian ini penulis telah mengembangan sebuah aplikasi navigasi yang memvisualisasikan kawasan Mercu Buana kampus Meruya ke dalam objek 3 dimensi yang interaktif dan informatif yang dikemas dalam bentuk web. Aplikasi ini dirancang dengan menggunakan aplikasi blender yang berekstensi blend4web dengan teknik modelling, teksturing, dan scripting. Perancangan yang dilakukan adalah pemodelan bangunan yang ada di kampus Meruya yang dapat ditinjau menggunakan tombol interaktif yang dapat digunakan oleh pengunjung web untuk membantu mencari lokasi dan juga dapat digunakan sebagai pengenalan kampus. Setelah perancangan dan implementasi navigasi kampus meruya telah selesai, penulis melakukan pengujian pada aplikasi dengan melakukan beberapa aktifitas menggunakan tombol navigasi, pergerakan mouse, pergerakan keyboard, animasi, dan suara.
