Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influences of quality of work life, situational leadership, and extrinsic motivation on employee’s work performance in PT. XYZ. This study used causal comparative research design with quantitative method. Samples were calculated by Slovin method and used proportional stratified random sampling. Subjects of this study are 228 manufacturing employees of PT. XYZ. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 24. The results of this study show that (1) there is a positive and significant influence of quality of work life on employee’s work performance; (2) there is a positive and significant influence of situational leadership on employee’s work performance; (3) there is a positive and significant influence of extrinsic motivation significant influences of quality of work life, situational leadership, and extrinsic motivation on employee’s work performance. It is suggested that management of PT. XYZ should pay attention and ensure the implementations of qood quality of working life, effective situational leadership, and strong extrinsic motivation to improve employee’s work performance. Keywords: quality of work life, situational leadership, extrinsic motivation, employee’s work achievement Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja, kepemimpinan situasional, dan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT. XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kausal komparatif dengan metode kuantitatif. Sampel dihitung dengan metode Slovin dan menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 228 karyawan pabrik PT. XYZ. Data dianalisa menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 24. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan; (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan situasional terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan; (3) terdapat pengaruh terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kualitas kehidupan kerja, kepemimpinan situasional, dan motivasi ekstrinsik secara simultan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu, manajemen PT. XYZ disarankan agar memberikan perhatian dan memastikan penerapan kualitas kehidupan kerja yang baik, kepemimpinan situasional yang efektif, dan motivasi ekstrinsik yang kuat untuk memperbaiki prestasi kerja karyawan.
