Abstract

This study focused on self esteem and purchasing decisions in adolescents Taman Mangu Indah Complex, Pondok Aren, with the aim to examine the effect of self esteem on purchasing decisions. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a questionnaire method of measuring self-esteem and purchasing decisions. Respondents used in this study amounted to 100 people. The results showed a significant influence of self esteem on purchasing decisions, where self esteem contributed 43.3% to purchasing decisions. Therefore the results of the study concluded that there was an influence of self esteem on purchasing decisions in adolescents Taman Mangu Indah Complex, Pondok Aren. Keywords: Self Esteem, Purchase Decision Penelitian ini difokuskan pada self esteem dan keputusan pembelian pada remaja Komplek Taman Mangu Indah, Pondok Aren, dengan tujuan untuk menguji pengaruh self esteem terhadap keputusan pembelian. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuesioner alat ukur self esteem dan keputusan pembelian. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari self esteem terhadap keputusan pembelian, dimana self esteem berkontribusi sebesar 43,3% terhadap keputusan pembelian. Oleh karena itu hasil penelitian menyimpulkan adanya pengaruh self esteem terhadap keputusan pembelian pada remaja Komplek Taman Mangu Indah, Pondok Aren.
