Abstract

PT. SDS, as one of the American companies engaged in Oil & Gas Services, has several tools that require reliability with the target of using zero failure. The company has implemented several TPM pillars, but the maintenance improvement program is not in line with the high incidence of failures or defects that occur on the MWD job system, which is generally caused by Pulser tools and maintenance machines. The purpose of this study is to know and learn the potential and causes of failure of the entire Pulser system maintenance process and to obtain the value of OEE and search for the largest Losses of Pulser maintenance machine, then the results of this data processing is analysed with pareto chart and fishbone diagram to find for a space improvement if necessary. Based on the results of the research, machine and human factors are the main cause of pulser failures and defects with the OEE’s machine maintenance results that are still below the world class standard of > 85%. Set-up Losses from the Flush-fill station and Speed Losses from the Running Rig machine become the most six biggest contributor that causes downtime and OEE decline. SDS, sebagai salah satu perusahaan asal Amerika yang bergerak dibidang Oil & Gas Services, memiliki beberapa alat yang membutuhkan reliability dengan target penggunaan zero failure. Perusahaan ini sudah menerapkan beberapa pilar TPM, akan tetapi program perbaikan maintenance yang dilakukan ini tidak sejalan dengan tingginya kejadian failures atau defects yang terjadi pada MWD job system yang umumnya disebabkan oleh alat Pulser dan mesin perawatannya. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari potensi serta penyebab-penyebab kegagalan dari keseluruhan proses maintenance Pulser system dan memperoleh nilai OEE serta mencari Losses terbesar dari mesin perawatan Pulser, untuk kemudian hasil dari pengolahan data ini dianalisa dengan pareto chart dan fishbone diagram guna mencari ruang perbaikan apabila diperlukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, faktor mesin dan manusia menjadi penyebab utama dari pulser failures dan defects dengan hasil nilai OEE mesin perawatan yang masih dibawah standar kelas dunia >85%. Set-up Losses dari mesin Flush-fill station dan Speed Losses dari mesin Running Rig menjadi contributor six big losses terbesar yang menyebabkan downtime dan penurunan nilai OEE.
