Abstract
Untuk mengembangkan suatu produk, dalam hal ini sofa kantor kita memerlukan suatu metode agar pengembangan dapat diketahui dengan baik. Pada penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD), dimana pengertiannya adalah suatu metode yang mencakup untuk mengetahui kebutuhan apa yang diperlukan konsumen pada suatu produk, dan kebutuhan tersebut haruslah diintegrasikan pada spesifikasi-spesifikasi produk yang dikembangkan. beberapa metode yang harus dilakukan yakni mengindetifikasi kebutuhan konsumen dengan mengumpulkan data menggunakan alat kuesioner dan diteliti kelayakan data yang terkumpul tersebut dengan analisis statistik (uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas). Setelah didapatkan kebutuhan-kebutuhan responden terhadap suatu produk, maka diintegrasikan kebutuhan tersebut pada spesifikasi produk yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan matriks perencanaan produk (House Of Quality), matriks perencanaan komponen (Part Deployment) dan matriks perencanaan proses (Process Deployment). Fungsinya, apabila produk tersebut telah diproduksi dapat diterima oleh konsumen di pasaran. Kata Kunci : Quality Function Deployment, House Of Quality, Part Deployment, & Process Deployment. To develop a product, in this case the office sofa we need a method to be developing well. In this study, the authors use the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD), is a method which includes the need to find out what it takes consumers on a product, and needs must be integrated in the product specifications is developed. Several methods to do that is identifying the needs of consumers by collecting data using a questionnaire and studied the feasibility of the data collected by statistical analysis (test validity and reliability testing). Having found the respondent needs of a product, then it needs to be integrated product specifications are developed using the product planning matrix (House of Quality), the planning matrix components (Part Deployment) and the matrix of the planning process (Process Deployment).
