Abstract

This thesis examined in order to evaluate the maintenance management system to improve reliability of critical equipment so that to effectively and efficiently, by applying Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) or a Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) as tools. In the analysis, the first approache taken is critical equipments, for critical equipment category "A" greatly affects the overall operation, further associated with critical parts and warehouse management as well as the Bill of Material (BOM). With the FMEA analysis performed to detect and analyze potential failure to do so as not to be a failure that could stop the production process. Proactive maintenance is the key word to create an asset reliability to operate in accordance with the user desires under optimal cost. With a proactive model of maintenance, spare parts need better planned. Planning planned improvements will result directly to the planning of spare parts, so that the existence of spare parts in warehouses more optimal. Keywords: Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Proactive Maintenance, Bill of Material Tesis ini mengkaji dalam rangka mengevaluasi maintenance manajemen system untuk meningkatkan kehandalan equipment kritis agar efektif dan efisien, dengan menerapkan Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) atau Failure Mode Effect Analisis (FMEA) sebagai tools. Dalam melakukan analisa, pertama pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah equipment kritis, karena equipment kritis katagori “A” sangat mempengaruhi operasi secara keseluruhan. Kemudian dikaitkan dengan suku cadang kritis & warehouse manajemen dan Bill of Material (BOM). Dengan FMEA analisis dilakukan untuk mendeteksi potensi kegagalan sekaligus menganalisa tindakan yang harus dilakukan agar tidak menjadi kegagalan yang dapat menghentikan proses produksi. Proactive maintenance merupakan kata kunci untuk mewujudkan kehandalan suatu asset agar beroperasi sesuai dengan keinginan pemakai, dengan biaya optimal. Dengan model proactive maintenance, kebutuhan suku cadang lebih terencana. Perencanaan perbaikan yang terencana akan berakibat langsung kepada perencanaan suku cadang, sehingga keberadaan suku cadang di warehouse lebih optimal.
