Abstract

Motorcycle Rental is a business that operates in the field of two-wheeled vehicle rentals. Insurance claims system on PT Wahanaartha Motorental still considered less effective, because the claim is still done by phone call or come directly to the office of the PT. Wahanaartha Motorental. This study aims to develop a web application system of insurance claims online. The method used for this study is the waterfall method, the application is built using PHP and MySQL for the database. This application is expected to provide detailed and accurate information about the claims that have been filed by tenants of vehicles delivered online, so the company helped in controlling the incoming claims and assist in the reporting process. Keywords: motorcycle rental, insurance claims, web Rental sepeda motor adalah sebuah usaha yang bergerakp adabidang penyewaan kendaraan roda dua. Sistem klaim asuransi pada PT Wahanaartha Motorental dinilai masih kurang efektif, karena klaim masih dilakukan dengan cara menelpon atau datang langsung ke kantor PT. Wahanaartha Motorental tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem aplikasi web klaim asuransi secara online. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall, aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan PHP dan MYSQL untuk database. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat memberi informasi secara detail dan akurat mengenai klaim yang sudah diajukan oleh penyewa kendaraan yang dikirimkan secara online, sehingga perusahaan terbantu dalam mengontrol klaim yang masuk dan membantu dalam proses pembuatan laporan.
