Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of servant leadership on the job performance of outsourcing employees. Servant leadership is defined as a leadership style that prioritizes service, care, and the development of employees, while job performance refers to the level of employees’ ability to carry out their tasks and responsibilities effectively in accordance with organizational demands. This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive and causal research design. The population of this study consists of all outsourcing employees totaling 63 individuals, and the sampling technique used is saturated sampling, in which all members of the population are included as research respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire instrument that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS Statistics 24 for Windows through simple linear regression analysis, preceded by classical assumption tests including normality, linearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. The results of the study indicate that servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on the job performance of outsourcing employees, as evidenced by a t-value greater than the t-table value and a significance level below 0.05. The coefficient of determination shows that servant leadership explains 22.6% of the variance in job performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The findings suggest that better implementation of servant leadership can lead to improved job performance among outsourcing employees, particularly in work environments characterized by high pressure and demanding targets. Therefore, servant leadership can be considered a relevant and effective leadership approach for enhancing the job performance of outsourcing employees in a sustainable manner. Keywords: Servant Leadership, Job Performance, Outsourcing Employee Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh servant leadership terhadap job performance karyawan outsourcing. Servant leadership didefinisikan sebagai gaya kepemimpinan yang menempatkan pelayanan, kepedulian, dan pengembangan karyawan sebagai prioritas utama, sedangkan job performance diartikan sebagai tingkat kemampuan karyawan dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawab pekerjaan secara efektif sesuai dengan tuntutan organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif dan kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan outsourcing yang berjumlah 63 orang, dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh, di mana seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sebagai responden penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan program SPSS Statistics 24 for Windows menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana, didahului oleh uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa servant leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job performance karyawan outsourcing, yang dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel serta nilai signifikansi di bawah 0,05. Nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa servant leadership mampu menjelaskan sebesar 22,6% variasi job performance, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan servant leadership yang lebih baik dapat meningkatkan job performance karyawan outsourcing, khususnya dalam lingkungan kerja yang memiliki tekanan dan tuntutan tinggi. Oleh karena itu, servant leadership dapat menjadi pendekatan kepemimpinan yang relevan untuk meningkatkan job performance karyawan outsourcing secara berkelanjutan.
