Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze the influence of company size, leverage, and inflation on profitability in food and beverage subsector companieslisted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. Thecompany's profitability in this study is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). Thesize of a company can be calculated by calculating the natural logarithm of itstotal assets, leverage can be calculated using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), andinflation can be calculated by Consumer Price Index (CPI) data. The Eviews 12program was used to regress panel data in this study. Purposive sampling wasused to select 90 annual data observations from 18 companies included in thesample. The study found that the size of the company did not affect its profitability. While leverage has a negative and significant impact on profitability, inflation hasa positive and significant impact on profitability. Keywords: Company Size, Leverage, Inflation, Profitability, food and beveragesector Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, leverage, dan inflasi terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan subsektor makanandan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2020–2024. Profitabilitas perusahaan dalam penelitian ini diproksikan dengan Return onAssets (ROA). Ukuran perusahaan dapat dihitung dengan menghitung logaritmanatural total asetnya, leverage dapat dihitung dengan menggunakan Rasio Hutangke Ekuitas (DER), dan inflasi dapat dihitung dengan data Indeks Harga Konsumen(IHK). Program Eviews 12 digunakan untuk melakukan regresi data panel dalampenelitian ini. Sampling purposive digunakan untuk memilih 90 observasi datatahunan dari 18 perusahaan yang termasuk dalam sampel. Studi ini menemukanbahwa ukuran perusahaan tidak mempengaruhi profitabilitasnya. Sementaraleverage berdampak negatif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, inflasiberdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas.
