Abstract

The current population growth continues to increase making the use of supporting activities also continue to increase, one of which is a laptop. Laptop itself is now one of the important needs. Using a laptop for a long time can cause some anxiety to health problems caused by sitting, uncomfortable posture. Indonesia itself has a tradition or a way to sit, which is the sitting tradition of lesehan where this way of sitting still survives from the past until now because besides being comfortable it also has the meaning that being low is a sign of humility. In that case, the designer makes a design for a product which will support the activities of laptop users and at the same time fulfill the needs of the Indonesian sitting tradition, which is the sitting tradition of Lesehan. Keywords: Desk, Laptop, Lesehan Pertumbuhan penduduk pada saat ini yang terus bertambah banyak membuat penggunaan alat penunjang aktifitas juga terus meningkat yang dimana salah satunya adalah laptop. Laptop sendiri saat ini sudah menjadi salah satu kebutuhan penting. Menggunakan laptop dalam jangka waktu yang lama dapat menimbulkan beberapa keresahan hingga masalah kesehatan yang diakibatkan oleh cara duduk, postur tubuh yang tidak nyaman. Indonesia sendiri memiliki tradisi atau cara duduk yaitu tradisi duduk lesehan yang dimana cara duduk ini masih bertahan dari dulu sampai saat ini karena selain nyaman juga memiliki makna bahwa lesahan adalah tanda rendah hati. Dalam hal itu mebuat perancang untuk merancang sebuah produk yang dimana nantinya akan menunjang aktifitas para pengguna laptop dan sekaligus memenuhi kebutuhan tradisi duduk orang Indonesia yaitu tradisi duduk lesehan.
