Abstract
The correspondence has an important role in performance of government administration. Incoming mail is an input that must be processed to produce output with good documentation. Good administration correspondence will help General Affairs of KPDJP to achieve good governance. Sistem Administrasi Persuratan is an application that designed to provide complete information about the correspondence workflow which starting from receipt of incoming mail until the completion of the response. This administration system is a web-based application and using Rapid Application Development (RAD) which can develop system rapidly and flexible. In the implementation, this information system can perform well. This system can monitor both the incoming mail and concept of outgoing mail, and also give a warning if the response is due date.Keywords: corespondence, Rapid Application Development, mail tracking. Surat-menyurat memiliki peranan yang penting dalam kinerja administrasi pemerintah. Surat yang diterima merupakan input yang harus diproses untuk menghasilkan keluaran yang terdokumentasi dengan jelas. Administrasi Persuratan yang baik akan dapat mewujudkan good governance di lingkungan Bagian Umum KPDJP. Sistem Administrasi Persuratan merupakan aplikasi yang dirancang untuk menyediakan informasi yang lengkap mengenai workflow persuratan mulai dari diterimanya surat masuk sampai dengan selesainya respon atas surat tersebut. Sistem administrasi ini merupakan aplikasi berbasis website dan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang dapat mengembangkan sistem secara cepat dan flexible. Dalam implementasi yang dilakukan, sistem informasi ini dapat melakukan administrasi persuratan dengan baik. Sistem informasi ini dapat melakukan monitoring terhadap surat-surat yang diterima dan konsep surat keluar serta memberikan peringatan jika respon yang dilakukan melebihi jatuh tempo.Kata Kunci: surat-menyurat, Rapid Application Development, monitoring surat.
