Abstract

The maintenance of ornamental fish in ponds requires careful attention to waterquality, such as temperature and turbidity, to ensure that the fish remain healthyand grow well. However, this process often requires intensive manual monitoring, which can be time-consuming and labor-intensive. With technological advancements, particularly in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT), solutionsare now available that enable automated and more efficient monitoring andcontrol. IoT allows devices to connect and communicate over the internet, simplifying the real-time management of pond environmental conditions. In this research, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system is developed formonitoring temperature, water turbidity, and automatic feeding control inornamental fish ponds. This system is designed to assist fish keepers in monitoringwater quality and providing food automatically without the need for intensivemanual intervention. The device is equipped with a temperature sensor, turbiditysensor, and an automatic feeding dispenser module that can be controlled througha web-based application. The development of this system involves using amicrocontroller as the central controller, temperature and turbidity sensors toread pond environmental conditions, and for controlling feeding. Data from thesensors is sent to an IoT server via a Wi-Fi connection, and users can monitor andcontrol the system through the application interface. Test results show that the system can monitor temperature and water turbidity inreal-time, with sensor accuracy reaching ±0.5°C for temperature and ±5% forturbidity. The system also successfully provides food automatically according tothe schedule set through the application, with an operation success rate of 95%. The implementation of this device is expected to help maintain the health of ornamental fish while also improving the efficiency of their care.. Keywords: Internet of Things, Ornamental Fish, Real-Time Monitoring Pemeliharaan ikan hias di kolam memerlukan perhatian yang cermat terhadapkualitas air, seperti suhu dan kekeruhan, agar ikan tetap sehat dan tumbuh denganbaik. Kata Kunci: Internet of things, Ikan Hias, Pemantauan Real time
