Abstract

ABSTRACT Schools have a vital role in supporting the educational process, both in learning activities and developing students' interests and talents. The quality of learning delivered by teaching staff and adequate support facilities greatly influence the effectiveness and speed of students in accessing knowledge. Education itself is a process of human empowerment which aims to build civilization, by focusing on developing human potential as a whole, both in terms of faith, thought and work. One form of education that is developing is Islamic-based education, which integrates general education with religious education. Integrated Islamic Schools (IT) are one of the educational models that are in demand because of their comprehensive approach, combining all aspects of learning within the framework of Islamic teachings. In Tangerang City, which has a predominantly Muslim population, the need for integrated Islamic schools is very high, but existing facilities are still limited. Therefore, building an Integrated Islamic School with an energy-saving architectural approach is a necessary solution. This approach not only offers energy efficiency and is environmentally friendly, but also creates a healthy and productive learning environment for students, while addressing environmental problems such as air pollution facing the city of Tangerang. ABSTRAK Sekolah memiliki peran vital dalam mendukung proses pendidikan, baik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran maupun pengembangan minat dan bakat siswa. Kualitas pembelajaran yang disampaikan oleh tenaga pengajar dan dukungan fasilitas yang memadai sangat berpengaruh pada efektivitas dan kecepatan siswa dalam mengakses pengetahuan. Pendidikan sendiri adalah proses pemberdayaan manusia pengembangan potensi manusia secara menyeluruh, baik dari segi iman, pikiran, maupun karya. Salah satu bentuk pendidikan yang berkembang adalah pendidikan berbasis Islam, yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan umum dengan pendidikan agama. Sekolah Islam Terpadu (IT) menjadi salah satu model pendidikan yang diminati karena pendekatannya yang komprehensif, menggabungkan semua aspek pembelajaran dalam kerangka ajaran Islam. Di Kota Tangerang, yang memiliki populasi mayoritas muslim, kebutuhan akan sekolah Islam terpadu sangat tinggi, namun fasilitas yang ada masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, pembangunan Sekolah Islam Terpadu dengan pendekatan arsitektur hemat energi menjadi solusi yang diperlukan. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya menawarkan efisiensi energi dan ramah lingkungan, tetapi juga menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang sehat dan produktif bagi siswa, sekaligus mengatasi masalah lingkungan seperti polusi udara yang dihadapi kota Tangerang.
