Abstract
The high level of human mobility currently requires a mode of transportation. One of them is Transjakarta which uses Scania buses with 9000 cc diesel engines. The turbocharger is part of the driving motor which functions as a suction pump and air pressure pump to the main motor which is used for complete flushing and combustion of the main motor. Increased replacement of Scania K320I turbocharger components for PT United Tractors customers, so that turbocharger components do not reach their useful life limit, so it is necessary to carry out an analysis to find out the useful life limit of turbocharger components that can be targeted and determine the cause of not reaching the useful life of turbocharger components. In conducting the case study in this research, the Weibull equation was used. The data collection methods used were literature study, interviews, and observation. The results of the analysis of the Scania K320I bus turbocharger components during the 2014—2022 time period showed that the shape parameter (β) was 2.64, the scale parameter (η) was 5379.35, the MTTF value was 4780.198 hours, the reliability at MTTF was 48%. The causes of not achieving service life according to Scania standards may be due to the quality of materials and construction, overboosting or overspinning, dirty or poor engine oil quality, lack of maintenance, failure of the filtering system, and extreme conditions of use. ABSTRAK Tingginya mobilitas manusia saat ini membutuhkan moda transportasi. Salah satunya adalah Transjakarta yang menggunakan bus Scania dengan mesin diesel 9000 cc. Turbocharger merupakan bagian dari motor penggerak yang berfungsi sebagai pompa hisap dan pompa tekan udara ke motor induk yang digunakan untuk pembilasan dan pembakaran yang sempurna dari motor induk tersebut. Peningkatan pergantian komponen turbocharger Scania K320I pada customer PT United Tractors, sehingga komponen turbocharger tidak mencapai batas umur pakai, sehingga perlu dilakukan analisa untuk mengetahui batas umur pakai komponen turbocharger yang bisa ditargetkan dan menentukan penyebab tidak tercapainya umur pakai komponen turbocharger. Dalam melakukan studi kasus pada penelitian ini menggunakan persamaan Weibull. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil analisa pada komponen turbocharger bus Scania K320I selama rentang waktu 2014—2022 didapatkan hasil parameter bentuk (β) 2,64, parameter skala (η) 5379,35 nilai MTTF 4780,198 jam, keandalan saat MTTF sebesar 48%. Penyebab tidak tercapainya umur pakai sesuai standar Scania kemungkinan karena kualitas bahan dan konstruksi, overboosting atau overspinning, kualitas minyak mesin yang kotor atau buruk, kurangnya pemeliharaan, kegagalan sistem pemfilteran, dan kondisi pemakaian yang ekstrim
