Abstract

Companies with many branches need a stable computer network for the head office and branches. Therefore, if the main router is damaged, we need a backup router to prevent the system from having problems. Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) is a Cisco standard protocol that creates routers that will automatically take over traffic if the primary router goes down or fails. VRRP consists of two If the active router fails, the standby router will automatically switch to the active one and take over the data flow in seconds, so even if employees are not aware of the router line changes and IT staff, the company's activities will not be hindered also enabling troubleshooting of routers that are damage or router failure without disrupting company activities.
