Abstract
Education is an important foundation in the development of a nation. However, the challenges of education in Indonesia are still complex, including gaps and inequality between educational facilities and student density and the lack of teaching staff in urban areas. In this complexity, schools remain the center of social life and individual character formation. A school is a building or institution for learning and teaching as well as a place to give and receive learning. There are schools that are in disrepair and need repair and the shape of the school building seems stiff, making students uncomfortable at school. Various policies have been implemented by the Government, one of which is the merger/regrouping policy. School regrouping is the merging of two or more schools into one school management. This design aims to redesign school buildings at the secondary education level using a regrouping system and carrying the concept of passive design. The passive approach not only provides benefits on an urban scale but is considered to contribute to the health, comfort and well-being of building occupants. Through this approach, it is hoped that an optimal, efficient and environmentally friendly learning environment can be created. Keywords : Redesign, Regrouping, School, Passive design, Bioclimatic Architecture Pendidikan merupakan landasan penting dalam pembangunan sebuah bangsa. Namun, tantangan pendidikan di Indonesia masih kompleks salah termasuk kesenjangan dan ketimpangan antara fasilitas pendidikan dengan kepadatan siswa dan kurangnya tenaga pengajar di wilayah perkotaan. Dalam kompleksitas tersebut, Sekolah tetap menjadi pusat kehidupan sosial dan pembentukan karakter individu. Sekolah adalah bangunan atau lembaga untuk belajar dan mengajar serta tempat memberi dan menerima pembelajaran. Terdapat sekolah yang kondisi nya rusak dan butuh perbaikan serta bentuk bangunan sekolah yang terkesan kaku sehingga membuat siswa tidak nyaman berada di sekolah. Berbagai kebijakan telah dilakukan oleh Pemerintah salah satunya dengan kebijakan penggabungan/ regrouping. Regrouping sekolah merupakan penggabungan dua sekolah atau lebih kedalam satu menejemen sekolah. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang bangunan sekolah pada jenjang pendidikan menengah dengan sistem regrouping dan mengusung konsep passive design. Pendekatan pasif tidak hanya memberikan manfaat dalam skala perkotaan namun dinilai memberikan kontribusi pada kesehatan, kenyamanan dan kesejahteraan penghuni bangunan. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan dapat diciptakan lingkungan belajar yang optimal, efisien, dan ramah lingkungan. Kata Kunci : Redesain, Regrouping, Sekolah, Passive design, Arsitektur Bioklimatik
