Abstract
At this time, the building of the house in Indonesia has made its development, due to the many needs and development of society. Same with work runag in PT. The FPU stands in a building. The building is a home and office. Given Indonesia's tropical climate conditions. Architects who build the rut is less to take into account the climate in Indonesia, especially in Wisma Harapan Tangerang this area. Thick walls are considered necessary by the architect, as heat insulation. Heat insulation using thick walls is not necessary in Indonesia, because the outside and inside of the building are relatively the same. Thermal comfort calculation in a building is considered necessary to help the staff as the basis of office considerations in improving the quality of the comfort of the work space or conditioned work space that is less comfortable in order to improve the work performance of the staff. Pada saat ini bangunan rukan di Indonesia sudah menigkat pembangunannya, dikarenakan banyaknya kebutuhandan perkembangan masyarakat. Sama dengan runag kerja di PT. FPU berdiri dalam bangunan rukan. Bangunan tersebut merupakan sebuah rumah dan kantor. Mengingat kondisi iklim Indonesia yang tropis. Arsitek yang membangun rukan tersebut kurang memperhitungkan iklim di Indonesia, terutama pada area Wisma Harapan Tangerang ini. Dinding yang tebal dianggap perlu oleh arsiteknya, sebagai isolasi panas. Isolasi panas dengan menggunakan dinding tebal tidak diperlukan di Indonesia, karena udara luar dan dalam bangunan relatif sama. Perhitungan kenyamanan termal dalam sebuah bangunan rukan dirasa perlu untuk membantu pihak staff sebagai dasar pertimbangan kantor dalam meningkatkan kualitas kenyamanan ruang kerja atau mengkondisikan ruang kerja yang kurang nyaman demi meningkatkan kinerja kerja para staff
