Abstract

The learning process can be done in informal formal and informal institutions. The formal educational institution that is familiar in our daily lives is school. Lighting is one of the comfort factors in the classroom. Classrooms at SMK Pluit Raya North Jakarta during study hours use lights to illuminate the room. The purpose of this research is to find out the condition of natural lighting intensity in the classroom. Why does the classroom use artificial light as the main lighting. The method used in this research is a quantitative method in the form of measuring the intensity of light using lux meters and then calculating the average light intensity. In addition, this research uses Dialux Evo 8.0 software simulation method. The use of software aims to simulate experiments with variables of the material used. The results of the measurement of light intensity shows that the lighting intensity in the class is above the recommended SNI standard which is 250 lux. This condition is influenced by the orientation of the window opening that faces south so that the classroom becomes very bright. To anticipate the glare entering the classroom and to take advantage of sunlight, the recommendations issued were the results of simulation experiments with the Dialux Evo 8.0 software tool. Proses belajar dapat di lakukan dalam lembaga formal dam informal. Lembaga formal pendidikan yang telah akrab dalam hidup kita sehari-hari adalah sekolah. Pencahayaan merupakan salah satu faktor kenyamanan di dalam kelas. Ruang kelas SMK Pluit Raya Jakarta Utara pada saat jam belajar menggunakan lampu untuk menerangi ruangan. Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah mencari tahu kondisi intensitas pencahayaan alami di dalam ruang kelas. Mengapa ruang kelas menggunakan cahaya buatan sebagai pencahayaan utama. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penilitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif berupa pengukuran intensitas cahaya menggunakan lux meter lalu dihitung rata-rata intensitas cahayanya. Selain itu di dalam penilitian ini menggunakan metode simulasi software Dialux Evo 8.0. Penggunaan software bertujuan untuk melakukan simulasi eksperimen dengan variabel material yang di gunakan. Hasil pengukuran intensitas cahaya menunjukan bahwa intensitas pencahayaan di dalam kelas di atas standar SNI yang di rekomendasikan yaitu 250 lux. Kondisi ini di pengaruhi oleh orientasi bukaan jendela yang menghadap selatan sehingga ruang kelas menjadi sangat terang . Untuk mengantisipasi silau yang masuk ke dalam ruang kelas dan untuk memanfaatkan cahaya matahari maka rekomendasi yang di keluarkan adalah hasil dari eksperimen simulasi dengan alat bantu software Dialux Evo 8.0.
