Abstract

This research aims to measure network performance within the Kemanggisan Foundation. The data collection technique is carried out first through a monitoring method using the Wireshark application to analyze data packets sent and received over the internet network. After that, we calculated various important parameters such as throughput, packet loss, latency and jitter. These results are then compared with standard THIPON measurements to assess network performance. The main objective of this research is to identify and evaluate the quality of service (QoS) of existing networks. The results of testing and analysis of Quality of Service (QoS) on the internet network at the Kemanggisan Foundation show several findings based on TIPHON standards. Recapitulation of QoS measurements during peak hours before the implementation of bandwidth restrictions resulted in a score of 3, which is in the "Satisfactory" category. Meanwhile, during off-peak hours before the restrictions, the score was 2.75, which was categorized as "Unsatisfactory". After the bandwidth limitation was applied, the QoS value during peak hours increased to 4, which falls into the "Very Satisfactory" category. However, during off-peak hours after throttling, the score remained at 2.75, which is still in the "Unsatisfactory" category. The benefit of this research is that it provides an understanding that QoS analysis can help in detecting and identifying network performance problems. By understanding and analyzing these parameters, we can take appropriate steps to improve network performance and reliability at Kemanggisan Foundation.. Kata kunci: Quality of Service, Network, Jitter, Delay, Throughput, Packet Loss Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kinerja jaringan di lingkungan Yayasan Kemanggisan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan pertama-tama melalui metode pemantauan menggunakan aplikasi Wireshark untuk menganalisis paket data yang dikirim dan diterima melalui jaringan internet. Setelah itu, kami melakukan perhitungan terhadap berbagai parameter penting seperti throughput, packet loss, latency, dan jitter. Hasil-hasil ini kemudian dibandingkan dengan standar pengukuran THIPON untuk menilai kinerja jaringan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi kualitas layanan (QoS) jaringan yang ada. Hasil pengujian dan analisis Quality of Service (QoS) pada jaringan internet di Yayasan Kemanggisan menunjukkan beberapa temuan berdasarkan standar TIPHON. Rekapitulasi pengukuran QoS selama jam sibuk sebelum penerapan pembatasan bandwidth menghasilkan skor 3, yang masuk dalam kategori "Memuaskan". Sementara itu, selama jam tidak sibuk sebelum pembatasan, skornya adalah 2,75, yang dikategorikan sebagai "Kurang Memuaskan". Setelah pembatasan bandwidth diterapkan, nilai QoS selama jam sibuk meningkat menjadi 4, yang termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat Memuaskan". Namun, selama jam tidak sibuk setelah pembatasan, skor tetap pada 2,75, yang masih dalam kategori "Kurang Memuaskan".. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman bahwa analisis QoS dapat membantu dalam mendeteksi dan mengidentifikasi masalah kinerja jaringan. Dengan memahami dan menganalisis parameter-parameter ini, kita dapat mengambil langkah-langkah yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan keandalan jaringan di Yayasan Kemanggisan.
