Abstract

Home is a primary need for every human life. In addition to the shelter of the house is also a container or place of human living life cibubur residential villa 2 is a residential built Pt.Subentra Land and most residents make changes to his home when occupied. The main purpose of this research is to know the changes to the initial design of the residence and the condition of the residence when it is occupied by knowing the architectural elements that changed in the design of the house when occupied in housing Cibubur Villa 2 Bekasi Jwa Barat. The research method was conducted with literature study and field survey. The field survey included observations, interviews, and submission of questionnaires to the manager of the housing. Results from processing and data analysis show that homeowners make physical changes to their homes when occupied, especially on the front of the building. Changes made is to add a canopy on the carpot, roof, adding space on the front of the building, roof, doors and windows. Factor factor is the cause of the changes - changes is because the inhabitants of the house want to look different from the surrounding buildings and want to make wake more privacy. Rumah merupakan kebutuhan utama bagi kehidupan setiap manusia. Selain untuk tempat berlindung rumah juga merupakan wadah atau tempat manusia melangsungkan kehidupannya perumahan cibubur villa 2 merupakan hunian yang dibangun Pt.Subentra Land dan sebagian besar penghuninya melakukan perubahan pada rumah tinggalnya saat ditempati. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perubahan terhadap desain awal rumah tinggal dan kondisi rumah tinggal tersebut saat ditempati dengan mengetahui unsur – unsur arsitektural yang berubah pada desain rumah tinggal saat ditempati di perumahan Cibubur Villa 2 Bekasi Jwa Barat. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan studi literature dan survey lapangan. Survey lapangan meliputi pengamatan, wawancara, dan penyerahan kuisioner kepada pengelola diperumahan tersebut. Hasil dari pengolahan dan analisis data menunjukan bahwa pemilik rumah melakukan perubahan fisik pada rumah tinggalnya saat ditempati, terutama pada bagian depan bangunan. Perubahan yang dilakukan adalah menambahkan kanopi pada carpot, atap, penambahan ruang pada depan bangunan, atap, pintu dan jendela. Factor factor yang menjadi penyebab perubahan – perubahan adalah karena penghuni rumah ingin terlihat berbeda dengan bangunan disekitarnya dan ingin menjadikan bangunannnya lebih privasi.
