Abstract
The use of machines and instruments in the laboratory that support the analysis process has the potential to generate noise, such as gas compressors for Inductively coupled plasma instruments. Noise is the occurrence of unwanted loudness that is disruptive and can harm health of workers. This study aims to establish the noise level in the metal laboratory analysis work area, and find a corelation between noise and the precise analysis of the analyst with Relative Percent Difference (%RPD) using simple linear regression, and then we could seek for ways to cope with the noise contamination. The data was collected by direct observation to the working area at the metal analysis laboratory at PT Syslab. Data processing using Loudness Equivalent (Leq), and simple linear regression. Result on effects of noise on %RPD obtained simple linear regression equations, found Y = -66,690+0,839X, with R-Square 0,893. Noise makes a significant difference with the %RPD results of analytic analyst with the value of T-test significance 0,000 < 0,05. Noise relations levels have a correlation to %RPD with significant <0,005. The relationship rate between noise and %RPD perfectly correlated with value 0,945. Penggunaan mesin dan alat instrumental di laboratorium yang mendukung proses analisa berpotensi menimbulkan suara kebisingan, seperti contohnya kompresor udara dan gas untuk instrumen Inductively Coupled Plasma. Kebisingan adalah terjadinya bunyi yang tidak dikehendaki sehingga mengganggu dan dapat membahayakan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetapkan tingkat kebisingan pada area kerja laboratorium analisa logam, mencari korelasi antara kebisingan dan ketelitian kerja analis dalam hal ini digunakan indikator Relative Percent Difference (%RPD), lalu mencari nilai korelasinya untuk membuktikan seberapa besar pengaruh kebisingan terhadap ketelitian kerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengukur kebisingan, menghitung nilai %RPD dari hasil analisa sample, dan menghitung nilai korelasi. Pengolahan data menggunakan rumus Loudness Equivalent (Leq) dan korelasi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian pengaruh kebisingan terhadap %RPD diperoleh persamaan regresi linier sederhana, didapatkan Y = -66,690+0,839X, dengan nilai R-Square 0,893. Kebisingan berpengaruh signifikan dengan %RPD hasil analisa analis dengan nilai signifikansi uji t 0,000 < 0,05. Tingkat hubungan kebisingan memiliki korelasi terhadap %RPD dengan signifikansi < 0,05. Tingkat hubungan antara kebisingan dengan %RPD memiliki korelasi sempurna dengan nilai pearson correlation 0,945.
