Abstract
Alexithymia can be thought of as a condition in which a person's emotional activity is affected, so that the individual who experiences it may appear less responsive to the surrounding environment. Quarter life crisis occurs in early adulthood, approximately between the ages of 20 and 35 years. The current quarter life crisis places individuals in a difficult situation, which often causes an emotional crisis and contributes to feelings of anxiety. The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between alexithymia and quarter life crisis. The sample in this study was 400 respondents. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between alexithymia and quarter life crisis in emerging adults with the resulting correlation being in the weak category. Keywords: Alexithymia, Quarter Life Crisis Alexithymia dapat diibaratkan sebagai kondisi di mana aktivitas emosional seseorang terpengaruh, sehingga individu yang mengalaminya mungkin tampak kurang responsif terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya. Quarter life crisis terjadi pada awal masa dewasa, kira-kira antara usia 20 hingga 35 tahun. Quarter life crisis saat ini menempatkan individu pada situasi yang sulit, yang seringkali menyebabkan krisis emosional dan berkontribusi pada perasaan kecemasan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara alexithymia dan quarter life crisis. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 400 responden. Hasil pada penelitian ini ialah terdapat hubungan alexithymia dengan quarter life crisis pada emerging adult dengan derajat korelasi yang dihasilkan berada pada kategori lemah.
