Abstract

In this digital era, the need for fast, stable, and reliable internet access is increasingly becoming a necessity for people and businesses. The development of information and communication technology has driven significant changes in the way we interact, work, and learn. Amidst the demand for superior connectivity, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) technology has emerged as the most efficient and advanced solution. While conventional FTTH networks promise highly reliable connectivity and optical quality, the project of building fiber optic infrastructure in homes requires significant investment for excavation, equipment, and installation. In addition, the construction of conventional FTTH networks also takes a long time in the installation process. In Banjarnegoro village, Bantul sub-district Yogyakarta is one of the areas where FTTH network installation is carried out with QODN technology. This is done to speed up installation, save costs, and install efficient devices. Because this QODN technology has a simpler network that can reduce work deadlines. The results of this research show that calculating losses using the power link budget method in Banjarnegoro Village RW 03 obtains a received power value in one of the FBJN01D02S01A01 sub boxes of -18.27785 dBm. The power link budget calculation results must be more than the standards set by ITU and PT LinkNet. For the calculation results of the received power margin (M), a value of 3.72215 dB was obtained. The results of the margin value show that the power margin value is greater than 0. This shows that the downlink configuration meets the feasibility of the power link budget. Keyword: Fiber To The Home, Quick ODN, Power Link Budget, Google Earth, AutoCAD Dalam era digital ini, kebutuhan akan akses internet yang cepat, stabil, dan andal semakin menjadi keharusan bagi masyarakat dan bisnis. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mendorong perubahan signifikan dalam cara kita berinteraksi, bekerja, dan belajar. Di tengah tuntutan akan konektivitas yang superior, teknologi Fiber to the Home (FTTH) telah muncul sebagai solusi paling efisien dan canggih. Walaupun jaringan FTTH dengan metode konvensional menjanjikan konektivitas dan kualitas optik yang sangat andal, tetapi proyek pembangunan infrastruktur serat optik hingga ke rumah-rumah membutuhkan investasi yang signifikan untuk penggalian, peralatan, dan instalasi. Selain itu, pembangunan jaringan FTTH konvensional juga memakan waktu lama dalam proses instalasi. Di desa Banjarnegoro, Kecamatan Bantul Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu area yang dilakukan pemasangan jaringan FTTH dengan teknologi QODN. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mempercepat pemasangan instalasi, hemat dalam biaya, dan pemasangan perangkat yang efisien. Dikarenakan teknologi QODN ini mempunyai jaringan yang lebih sederhana yang dapat mengurangi tenggat waktu pengerjaan. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa perhitungan losses menggunakan metode power link budget di Desa Banjarnegoro RW 03 mendapatkan nilai daya terima pada salah satu Sub box FBJN01D02S01A01 sebesar -18,27785 dBm. Hasil perhitungan power link budget harus lebih dari standar yang ditetapkan oleh ITU dan PT LinkNet. Untuk hasil perhitungan margin daya yang diterima (M) didapatkan nilai sebesar 3,72215 dB. Hasil dari nilai margin tersebut menunjukan bahwa nilai margin daya lebih besar dari 0. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa konfigurasi pada downlink memenuhi kelayakan power link budget.
