Abstract

The Honda Vario Club (HVC) Jakarta is a community comprising riders of various types of Honda Vario motorcycles. Presently, the HVC Jakarta communicates its activities through direct messaging to each member and WhatsApp groups, as well as by sharing informative images across various social media platforms managed by the community's administrators. However, this approach is deemed less effective because members often struggle to access the necessary information regarding events and other communityrelated updates, especially if they are not following the social media accounts managed by the community's administrators. Direct contact also does not always guarantee swift responses. Therefore, the community requires an easily accessible system so that all members and interested parties can promptly access the latest information through a website or Android-based application. To address this issue, the design of an information system is necessary, allowing both members and administrators to effortlessly access required information swiftly and efficiently. Based on this issue, the focus is on designing a system to facilitate quick access to necessary information for community members. The objective is to create an information system that streamlines access to required information for both community members and administrators, accomplished through the development of an Android-based information system for the Honda Vario Club (HVC) Jakarta. Keywords: Community, Information System, Application. Komunitas motor Honda Vario Club (HVC) Jakarta adalah sebuah komunitas yang terdiri dari pengendara motor Honda Vario semua tipe. Saat ini komunitas motor Honda Vario Club Jakarta mengkomunikasikan kegiatan melalui pengiriman pesan langsung kepada setiap anggota dan grup WhatsApp atau membagikan gambar yang berisi informasi terkait kegiatan melalui berbagai platfrom sosial media yang dikelola oleh pengurus komunitas. Namun, hal tersebut dirasa kurang efektif dikarenakan apabila ada anggota yang ingin mengetahui informasi mengenai kegiatan dan juga informasi lainnya mengenai komunitas, anggota sering kesulitan mengakses informasi yang mereka butuhkan, terutama jika mereka tidak mengikuti akun sosial media komunitas/klub. Kontak langsung pun tidak selalu menjamin respon yang cepat. Oleh karena itu, komunitas ini membutuhkan sebuah sistem yang mudah diakses, sehingga semua anggota dan pihak yang tertarik dengan kegiatan komunitas dapat dengan cepat mengakses informasi terbaru melalui situs web/aplikasi berbasis android. Dalam rangka mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan perancangan sistem informasi yang mana anggota dan/pun pengurus dapat dengan mudah mengakses informasi yang dibutuhkan dengan cepat dan efisien. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dirumuskan bagaimana merancang suatu sistem untuk mempermudah anggota komunitas mengakses informasi yang dibutuhkan dengan cepat. Dengan tujuan untuk menciptakan sistem informasi yang bisa mempermudah anggota komunitas dan pengurus dalam mengakses informasi yang dibutuhkan secara cepat, yaitu dengan dibuatnya sistem informasi komunitas Honda Vario Club (HVC) Jakarta yang berbasis android.
