Abstract

Buku edukatif adalah buku yang berpengaruh dalam proses stimulasi perkembangan anak, maka untuk memfasilitasi kebutuhan anak saat dalam meraih cita-citanya, salah satunya yaitu mendorong anak agar membaca untuk kesenangan, orang tua dirasa perlu mengetahui juga jenis bacaan apa yang dinikmati dan diminati sang anak. Gagasan dalam memberikan inovasi atau nilai desain baru yang kreatif serta konseptual terhadap perkembangan desain produk baru untuk menciptakan paket board book bergambar untuk anak-anak ini diperlukan. Melalui media board book dengan tema jenis-jenis profesi pekerjaan diharapkan produk ini dapat melatih anak-anak mengenal berbagai profesi pekerjaan dan menanamkan cita-cita semenjak dini hingga termotivasi sampai saat dewasa. Buku dirancang khusus untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas dan menentukan apa yang akan dicita-citakan oleh anak melalui cara mengenalkan macam-macam profesi disertai dengan ilustrasi karakter beserta latar belakang berwarna yang mendukung dari ilustrasi tersebut dan menggambarkan atribut apa yang dipakai oleh masing-masing profesi saat sedang menjalankan tugasnya.Educational book is an influential book in the process of stimulation of development of the child, then to facilitate the needs of the children while in the reach for a dream, one that is encouraging children so that reading for pleasure, Where parents need to know what type of reading is also enjoyed and liked by their children. The idea in providing innovation or creative new design values as well as the conceptual design to the development of new products to create a package of board books illustrated for children is required. Through the media board books with the theme of the types of occupational professions is expected this product can train children to know various professions of work and instill ideals from early to be motivated fore. The book is specifically designed to enhance creativity and determine what will be aspired to by the child through ways to introduce various professions accompanied by illustrations of the characters with a colored background support from the illustration and describes what attributes are used by the respective professions while running a job.
