Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and liquidity on firm value mediated by capital structure in pharmaceutical companies. The population of this study included 10 companies and the sample used was 7 companies. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis using Eviews 12. The analysis is to estimate and analyze the effect of profitability and liquidity on firm value using capital structure as a mediating variable. The results of testing the hypothesis on firm value show that profitability has a positive effect on firm value, while liquidity and capital structure have no effect on firm value. The results of testing the hypothesis on capital structure show that profitability and liquidity have no effect on capital structure. The results of the analysis using path analysis show that profitability and liquidity have no effect on firm value when mediated by capital structure. Keywords: Capital structure, Firm Value, Liquidity, Pharmacy, Profitability Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas dan likuiditas terhadap nilai perusahaan yang dimediasi struktur modal pada perusahaan farmasi. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 10 perussahaan dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah 7 perusahaan farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada periode 2017-2021. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan Eviews 12. Analisis tersebut untuk mengestimasi dan menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas dan likuiditas terhadap nilai perusahaan yang menggunakan struktur modal sebagai variabel mediasi. Hasil pengujian hipotesis terhadap nilai perusahaan menunjukan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan likuiditas dan struktur modal tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis terhadap struktur modal menunjukan profitabilitas dan likuiditas tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. Hasil analisis menggunakan path analysis menunjukan bahwa profitabilitas dan likuiditas tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan saat dimediasi struktur modal.
