Abstract

The first 4-6 years of the child's age is the period when the child determines the quality of his or her development which can be studied in the early stages of formal education in Kindergarten. Building and shaping children's personal characteristics is not only supported by a good educational curriculum, but also requires facilities or infrastructure in kindergarten that function optimally. Although each Kindergarten has an accreditation rating, this makes it easier to determine the right initial education facility. In fact, this is just a label for assessing and appreciating the suitability of formal education unit programs, and it is still possible to find facilities or infrastructure that are still not functioning optimally. Al-Ikhlas Islamic KB/TK as a forum for activities and teaching and learning activities to help provide basic development and the formation of children's personal characteristics based on Islamic religious education. This design aims to maximize the facilities or infrastructure available at the Al-Ikhlas Islamic KB/TK, as well as to further support the curriculum used for interior elements in the Kindergarten. By applying an Islamic concept with Memphis style nuances and carrying an Islamic and Colorful theme, as a problem solver in meeting the needs of children in Kindergarten based on their characteristics. However, we are still trying to implement the visual identity of the Al-Ikhlas Islamic KB/TK, along with its Islamic-based education. As a result of this design, it is hoped that the interior elements of the Al-Ikhlas Islamic KB/TK as aspects of the learning and play space can have an influence on children by feeling comfortable, more motivated in learning, not bored and lazy with the facilities that can support the learning process. Keywords: Children's personal characteristics, Kindergarten, Interior elements Pada usia anak 4-6 tahun pertama merupakan masa dimana anak dalam menentukan kualitas perkembangan dirinya yang dapat dipelajari pada masa awal pendidikan formal di Taman Kanak-Kanak. Membangun dan membentuk karakteristik diri anak tidak hanya didukung dengan kurikulum pendidikan yang baik, melainkan perlu fasilitas atau sarana prasarana di Taman Kanak-Kanak yang berfungsi dengan maksimal. Meskipun setiap Taman Kanak-Kanak memiliki peringkat akreditasi, dan memudahkan dalam menentukan sarana pendidikan awal yang tepat. Nyatanya hal itu hanyalah label penilaian serta penghargaan terhadap kelayakan program satuan pendidikan formal, dan masih dapat ditemukannya fasilitas atau sarana prasarana yang masih belum berfungsi dengan maksimal. KB/TK Islam Al-Ikhlas sebagai wadah aktivitas dan kegiatan belajar mengajar dalam membantu memberikan pengembangan dasar dan pembentukan karakteristik diri anak yang berbasis pendidikan agama Islam. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan fasilitas atau sarana prasarana yang terdapat pada KB/TK Islam Al-Ikhlas, serta lebih menunjang kurikulum yang digunakan terhadap elemen interior di Taman Kanak-Kanak. Dengan penerapan konsep Islami bernuansa gaya Memphis serta mengusung tema Islamic and Colorful, sebagai pemecah masalah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan anak di Taman KanakKanak berdasarkan karakteristiknya. Namun tetap berupaya mengimplementasikan identitas visual KB/TK Islam Al-Ikhlas, beserta pendidikannya yang berbasis agama Islam. Hasil perancangan ini diharapkan elemen interior pada KB/TK Islam Al-Ikhlas sebagai aspek ruang belajar dan bermain dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap anak-anak dengan merasa nyaman, lebih termotivasi dalam belajar, tidak bosan, dan malas dengan adanya fasilitas yang dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran.
