Abstract
The scissor hydraulic trolley, as a hydraulic-based lifting device, plays a significant role in enhancing operational efficiency in the industrial sector, with a lifting capacity reaching 1000 kg. The focus of this research revolves around potential structural risks that could impact the operational safety of the trolley, including fractures, bends, corrosion, and wear. This study aims to address the design and evaluation of the trolley, considering variations in design and material combinations when handling substantial loads. The research methodology follows the VDI 2221 stages, involving design and simulation using SolidWorks software. The research findings establish variant 1 with an Overall Weight Value (OWV) of 7.68 as the optimal solution based on structural analysis in the simulation of a 1000 kg load. Validation indicates that the design meets strength and safety criteria, with a von Mises strength of 8.58 x 10^7 N/m^2, strain of 2.59 x 10^-4, maximum displacement of 0.6869 mm, and a minimum Safety Factor of 2.912. Masalah penelitian ini berfokus pada potensi risiko struktural yang dapat memengaruhi keamanan operasional troli, termasuk patah, lentur, korosi, dan keausan. Penelitian ini bertujuan pada perancangan dan evaluasi troli dengan variasi desain dan kombinasi material ketika menangani beban yang substansial. Metodologi penelitian melibatkan tahapan VDI 2221 dengan perancangan dan simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak SolidWorks. Hasil penelitian ini menetapkan varian 1 dengan OWV (Overall Weight Value) 7.68 sebagai solusi terbaik berdasarkan analisis struktural simulasi beban 1000 kg, validasi menunjukkan bahwa desain tersebut memenuhi kriteria kekuatan dan keamanan dengan kekuatan von Mises 8.58 x 10^7 N/m^2, regangan 2.59 x 10^-4, displacement maksimal 0.6869 mm, dan Faktor Keamanan minimal 2.912.
