Abstract
Cancer is an important thing for society to reduce the death rate due to cancer. With this, society should be more alert, especially women who can be attacked by breast cancer. What must be done is to routinely examine the breasts. Wearable antennas are microstrip antennas that can be applied directly to human skin or clothing. Wearable antennas generally work in the Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) frequency bands. Wearable antennas are widely used because they are relatively cheap, easy to fabricate and light. Wearable antennas are suitable for use in telemedicine technology. In this research, the wearable antenna was made using a cotton substrate, where the aim of this research was to find out whether the cotton substrate was suitable to be used as a wearable antenna, where the frequency was 2.4 GHz and the calculation used simulation using HFSS software, namely S_(11)- 16.47 dB and in the fabrication results obtained a frequency value of 1.87 and a value of S_(11 )-9.97 dB. Keywords: Wearable antenna, cotton substrate, HFSS software, cancer,
