Abstract

Value of The NPHR and efficiency currently an important role in the assessment of the Performance Base Regulatory of a steam power plant. The real time value of NPHR calculation with the energy balance method can be used to control the performance of the steam power plant, so the identification process of decreasing efficiency and increasing the value of NPHR power plant will be easier. Purpose of This final project to analyze the energy balance in power plant system process, determining efficiency and NPHR value, determining energy losses, and performance analysis of PLTU Suralaya Unit 5 power plant system on the real time. The Method used by conducting direct and indirect data collection of energy balance calculation parameters and value NPHR of PLTU Suralaya Unit 5 in December 2016. Calculations performed include; The energy balance of the boiler, the energy balance of the steam cycle, the efficiency of the generating system and the value NPHR of the Suralaya Power Plant Unit 5. From the calculation of the energy balance, the best value System efficiency and NPHR value of Suralaya Unit 5 in December 2016 are 38.10% and 2260 kcal / kWh. Performance PLTU Suralaya Unit 5 performance in December 2016 can reach 64.5% based on the NPHR value of the performance target set in the management contract that is 2561,81 kcal / kWh. Key words: energy balance, steam power plant, efficiency, NPHR Nilai Nett Plant Heat Rate dan efisiensi saat ini memegang peranan penting dalam penilaian Performance Base Regulatory suatu pembangkit listrik tenaga uap. Perhitungan nilai NPHR secara realtime dengan metode keseimbangan energi dapat digunakan untuk mengendalikan performa PLTU, sehingga proses identifikasi letak penurunan efisiensi dan kenaikan nilai NPHR pembangkit akan lebih mudah. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa keseimbangan energi pada proses sistem pembangkit, menentukan nilai efisiensi dan NPHR, menentukan kerugian energi, dan analisis performa sistem pembangkit PLTU Suralaya Unit 5 secara realtime. Metode yang digunakan dengan melakukan pengambilan data langsung dan tak langsung parameter perhitungan keseimbangan energi dan nilai NPHR PLTU Suralaya Unit 5 pada bulan Desember 2016. Perhitungan yang dilakukan meliputi; keseimbangan energi boiler, keseimbangan energi siklus uap, efisiensi sistem pembangkit dan nilia NPHR PLTU Suralaya Unit 5. Dari hasil perhitungan keseimbangan energi, Efisiensi sistem dan nilai NPHR terbaik Suralaya Unit 5 pada Desember 2016 adalah 38,10 % dan 2260 kcal/kWh. Performa PLTU Suralaya Unit 5 pada Desember 2016 dapat mencapai 64,5 % berdasarkan nilai NPHR dari target kinerja yang telah ditetapkan pada kontrak management yaitu sebesar 2561,81 kcal/kWh.
