Abstract

Technological developments in the manufacturing production process requires a stable and adequate LAN network connection. In view of the internal application software and the use of some critical applications, a high availability network is urgently needed. The condition of the network system at PT. Keihin Indonesia, which has not implemented a link redundancy system and is still using 1 segment IP blocks. So it is necessary to divide network segmentation and analyze QoS from the use of LACP with MSTP on a LAN network to produce the best solution in implementing a redundancy system. From the measurement results of QoS parameters, LACP’s performance is proven to be better than MSTP’s performance. This is shown in the results of the superior throughput measurement of 185716,52 kbit/s, the lower delay of 57,64 ms and the lower packet loss of 0,02%. Keywords: analysis QoS, redundancy link, network optimization Perkembangan teknologi dalam proses produksi manufaktur membutuhkan koneksi jaringan LAN yang stabil dan memadai. Mengingat berkembangnya software aplikasi internal dan penggunaan beberapa aplikasi yang bersifat critical sangat membutuhkan jaringan high availability. Dengan kondisi sistem jaringan di PT. Keihin Indonesia yang belum menerapkan sistem link redundansi dan masih menggunakan blok IP 1 segmen. Maka perlu dilakukan pembagian segmentasi jaringan dan menganalisis QoS dari penggunaan LACP dengan MSTP pada jaringan LAN untuk menghasilkan solusi yang terbaik dalam implementasi sistem redundansi. Dari hasil pengukuran parameter QoS, performansi LACP terbukti lebih baik dari performa MSTP. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan pada hasil pengukuran throughput yang lebih unggul bernilai 185716,52 kbit/s, delay yang lebih rendah bernilai 57,64 ms dan packet loss yang lebih rendah bernilai 0,02 %.
