Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peran prinsip-prinsip good corporate governance (GCG) sebagai variabel intervening dalam memahami pengaruh antara komitmen organisasi, kepemimpinan, dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Populasi pada fokus penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja di salah satu Anak Perusahaan Pertamina, yaitu PT Pertamina Training and Consulting berlokasi di DKI Jakarta. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 162 karyawan dipilih melalui metode teknik pengambilan sampel probabilitas dengan pendekatan simple random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan temuan yang penting, yaitu: Pertama, komitmen organisasi, kepemimpinan, dan budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini menunjukkan pentingnya faktor-faktor ini dalam mendorong peningkatan kinerja karyawan di lingkungan kerja. Kedua, komitmen organisasi, kepemimpinan, dan budaya organisasi juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prinsip-prinsip GCG. Hal ini menekankan pengaruh erat antara praktik GCG dengan elemen-elemen internal organisasi, seperti komitmen, kepemimpinan, dan budaya. Ketiga, prinsip-prinsip GCG memainkan peran penting sebagai mediator (parsial mediasi) yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi, kepemimpinan, dan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi bahwa implementasi yang baik dari prinsip-prinsip GCG dapat memperkuat dampak positif komitmen, kepemimpinan, dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam konteks perusahaan seperti Anak Perushaan Pertamina. Temuan ini dapat membantu perusahaan untuk lebih memahami bagaimana praktik GCG dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan melalui penguatan komitmen organisasi, kepemimpinan, dan budaya organisasi. Dengan pemahaman ini, perusahaan dapat mengambil tindakan yang lebih tepat untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas, dan keberlanjutan operasional perusahaan. This study aims to investigate the influence of the role of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles as an intervening variable in understanding the relationship between organizational commitment, leadership, and organizational culture on employee performance. The study population focuses on all employees working in one of Pertamina's subsidiary companies, namely PT Pertamina Training and Consulting, located in DKI Jakarta. A sample of 162 employees was selected using a probability sampling technique with a simple random sampling approach. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The research findings reveal significant insights: Firstly, organizational commitment, leadership, and organizational culture have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. This underscores the importance of these factors in driving improvements in employee performance in the workplace. Secondly, organizational commitment, leadership, and organizational culture also have a positive and significant influence on GCG principles. This emphasizes the close relationship between GCG practices and internal organizational elements, such as commitment, leadership, and culture. Thirdly, GCG principles play a crucial role as a mediator (partial mediation) significantly affecting the relationship between organizational commitment, leadership, and organizational culture with employee performance. These findings highlight that the effective implementation of GCG principles can strengthen the positive impact of organizational commitment, leadership, and culture on employee performance. The implications of this study are significant within the context of companies like Pertamina's subsidiaries. These findings can assist companies in better understanding how GCG practices can enhance employee performance through the reinforcement of organizational commitment, leadership, and culture. With this understanding, companies can take more appropriate actions to improve efficiency, productivity, and the sustainability of their operations.
