Abstract
Technological developments in the field of telecommunications, especially networks using fiber optiks are increasingly rapidly. The Menara Latumenten Apartment is a multi-storey residential building consisting of 2 towers, 34 floors and 1120 houses and is in the middle to upper-middle house category requiring an FTTH network for its internet needs. Fiber to the home and gigabit passive optical network (GPON) are technological solutions for these needs. From these problems, a fiber optik network design was made in the Menara Latumenten Apartment, which consists of 1120 houses divided into 2 towers and 34 floors using the AutoCAD application and calculating the power link budget . Calculations start from OLT devices at internet service providers, then calculations at OTB and ODP, and finally calculations at ONU customers. the power link budget resulting from the design and calculation of the largest attenuation value starting from the OLT to the customer's house is in accordance with the standard, namely 25.57 dB, below the maximum standard of 28dB and the power acceptability obtained by the customer is around -21.57 dBm from the maximum standard of -27 dBm . Keywords: Fiber optik, FTTH, GPON, Power Link budget Perkembangan teknologi dibidang telekomunikasi terutama jaringan menggunakan fiber optik semakin hari semakin pesat. Apartemen Menara Latumenten merupakan bangunan bertingkat residensial yang terdiri dari 2 tower, 34 lantai dan 1120 rumah dan masuk kategori rumah menengah keatas membutuhkan jaringan FTTH untuk kebutuhan internet nya. Fiber to the home dan gigabit passive optical networks (GPON) merupakan solusi teknologi untuk kebutuhan tersebut. Dari masalah tersebut, dibuatlah desain perancangan jaringan fiber optik di Apartemen Menara Latumenten yang terdiri dari 1120 rumah terbagi menjadi 2 tower dan 34 lantai menggunakan aplikasi AutoCAD dan perhitungan power link budget nya. Perhitungan dimulai dari perangkat OLT di penyedia jasa internet, kemudian perhitungan di OTB dan ODP, dan terakhir perhitungan di ONU pelanggan. power link budget yang dihasilkan dari perancangan dan perhitungan nilai redaman terbesar mulai dari OLT sampai dengan rumah pelanggan sudah sesuai standar yaitu 25,57 dB, dibawah standar maksimal 28dB dan Power Receive yang didapatkan pelanggan berkisar -21,57 dBm dari standart maksimal -27 dBm.
