Abstract

KGXpress is a logistics service provider company equipped with multimodal transportation, integrated fulfillment, project logistics, freight forwarding, distribution and technology. Hub is a process place that will be passed by goods before they are sent to consumers. This study aims to determine the type of waste and its causes and to minimize waste in the operation process at Hub. This study uses value stream mapping which is a method in the lean concept to reduce waste and a fishbone diagram to analyze the causes of waste. Based on the results of the current state mapping and identification of waste in the operation process at the Hub, it is known that there are non-value added activities in the form of waiting and excess process caused by workers delaying work and arriving late and inaccurate methods. The proposed improvements are based on the analysis of the causes of waste using a fishbone diagram, namely providing regular directions to employees regarding time discipline and job responsibilities, improving the AWB printing method, and re-checking the availability of fleets and drivers. Based on the comparison of current state mapping and future state mapping, there was a reduction in the total NVA time by 447.2 seconds from 451.2 seconds to 4 seconds. Keywords: lean service, value stream mapping, waste, fishbone diagram KGXpress merupakan perusahaan penyedia layanan logistik yang dilengkapi dengan transportasi multimoda, pemenuhan terintegrasi, logistik proyek, pengiriman barang, distribusi, dan teknologi. Hub merupakan tempat proses yang akan dilewati oleh barang sebelum dikirim kepada konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis pemborosan dan penyebabnya serta meminimalkan pemborosan pada proses operasi di Hub. Penelitian ini menggunakan value stream mapping yang merupakan metode dalam konsep lean untuk mengurangi pemborosan dan diagram fishbone untuk menganalisis penyebab pemborosan. Berdasarkan hasil current state mapping dan identifikasi pemborosan pada proses operasi di Hub, diketahui bahwa terdapat aktivitas non value added berupa waiting dan excess process yang disebabkan oleh tenaga kerja yang menunda pekerjaan dan datang terlambat dan metode yang kurang tepat. Adapun usulan perbaikan yang diberikan berdasarkan hasil analisis penyebab pemborosan menggunakan diagram fishbone yaitu memberikan arahan secara berkala kepada pegawai mengenai disiplin waktu dan tanggung jawab pekerjaan, memperbaiki metode pencetakan AWB, dan melakukan pemeriksaan ulang terhadap ketersediaan armada dan sopir. Berdasarkan perbandingan current state mapping dan future state mapping, terjadi pengurangan total waktu NVA sebesar 447,2 detik dari 451,2 detik menjadi 4 detik.
