Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi saat ini semakin pesat terutama pada bidang teknologi informasi, Salah satu produk teknologi informasi yang dimiliki oleh semua kalangan ialah telepon genggam atau yang lebih populer dengan sebutan 'Handphone'. Jenis handphone yang kini sedang tren ialah "Smartphone" dimana handphone jenis ini memiliki banyak aplikasi yang dapat menunjang kegiatan sehari-hari.Kini teknologi handphone telah merambat pada media pembelajaran anak-anak. Tetapi pada sistem yang sedang berjalan hal tersebut belum terlaksana secara optimal. Dikarenakan proses pembelajaran Huruf Hiajiyah dan Angka Arab serta kurangnya peran seorang pengajar sepertinya belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan seluruh murid dalam proses pembelajaran, dikarenakan proses pembelajarannya hanya dengan berbicara tanpa adanya visualisasi yang menarik sehingga anak-anak cepat merasa bosan. Pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan teknologi dapat dipadukan dengan adanya unsur visual yang menarik. Dari permasalahan yang ada maka dirancang aplikasi yang mampu memaksimalkan kinerja teknologi smartphone sebagai media pembelajaran huruf hijaiyah dan angka arab untuk anak.Aplikasi pembelajaran huruf hijaiyah dan angka arab ini dirancang menggunakan Eclipse HELIOS. Hasil akhir dari perancangan ini yakni berupa produk aplikasi interactive learning huruf hijaiyah dan angka arab berbasis android. Dengan aplikasi yang dibuat ini diharapkan bisa membantu anak dalam mengenal lebih huruf hijaiyah dan angka arab dan lebih interactive dalam belajar.Kata Kunci: Aplikasi pembelajaran, huruf hijaiyah dan angka arab, Smartphone, Android. The current developments of technology growing rapidly, especially on information technology, the product of information technology that everyone had is handphone. The type of phone that is now on trend is "Smartphone" where this type of mobile phone have many applications that can support the daily activities.Nowadays, the mobile phone technology has been crept on children's learning. Unfortunately, the current system hasn't done optimally. Due to the learning process of Hiajiyah Letters and Arabic numbers, and the lack of a teacher's seems not be able to fulfill the needs of all students on a learning process, because the process of learning only by speaking without any visualization so that the children could be bored quickly. Learning could be combined with technology using an attractive visual elements. From that problems, the writer designed an application to maximize the performance of smartphone technology as a learning media of hijaiyah letters and Arabic numbers for children.The applications learning of hijaiyah letters and Arabic numbers used Eclipse HELIOS as the design. The result of this design is an interactive learning application hijaiyah letters and Arabic numbers based on Android. With this application the writer expected to help children to know more about hijaiyah letters and Arabic numbers and to make learning more interactive.Keywords: Learning application, hijaiyah letters and Arabic numbers, Smartphone, Android.
