Abstract
This research was conducted to analyze potential hazards and reduce the occurrence of work accidents in the welding sterring department. This study uses the Job Safety Analysis method with the help of calculating work accident statistical indicators. This study consists of several data obtained from K3 management. The data is calculated using statistical indicators of work accidents and the result is that the more frequent work accidents occur, the lower the productivity level, in 2022 there will be 3 work accident cases and the productivity will be 99.68%, and in 2023 there will be 2 work accident cases and the productivity result is 99.74%, therefore the level of work accidents affects the level of productivity. And with the job safety analysis method several potential hazards have been found and the results of the Job Safety Analysis method are able to prevent and reduce the occurrence of work accidents as evidenced in March to May employee discipline is getting better and there is no potential for work accidents or work accident cases. Keywords: safety, work accidents, potential hazards, Job Safety Analysis, productivity.
